NEW ADDITIONS TO OUR TEAM

KEIL JONES joined us on 1st August as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant (Industrial / Transport).

Keil was recommended to us by a business partner. Keil had shown very willing prior to joining Staff Plus Services by offering his time totally free of charge through work experience with a local leasing company, this was to prove himself with a view to finding a permanent position. Keil's role was telesales providing leads to the rest of the team.

Keil's hunger and desire to achieve whilst progressing his career was most certainly displaid to us at interview and we are very happy to offer him a chance to gain a very rewarding career with us at Staff Plus Services Limited.

Keeping on top of driver CPC Modules

ATTENTION ALL DRIVERS

ARE You CPC Qualified, or are you considering how to get CPC qualified but unsure how to go about it?

All commercial drivers who drive vehicles 3.5 tonnes and over including D1 licence holders will by law be required to undertake 35 x hours training by September 10th 2014.

This will be conducted in a classroom style and will cover 5 x modules. THERE IS NOT A TEST AT THE END OF THE MODULES. It is merely attendance of the course that enables you to complete each module.

The modules are 7 x hours long each and they cover elements such as:

• Drivers Hours & Tachograph rules and regulations (Digital & Anologue)
• Daily walk round- vehicle checking & safety
• Health & Safety - Loading/Unloading
• Green Strategy - Eco friendly driving and awareness
• Customer care

Refurbishment nearly complete

We are proud to say that our office refurbishment is now nearly complete.

Through progression and outgrowing our original office, we moved offices back in Jan 2011 and have now settled nicely into our 'new home' of which is more spacious and purpose built to suit our business needs. We still have a little work being carried out on the outside of the building, this will be finished very shortly.
