Applicants will have experience with conventional machining and be able to set and operate CNC Machinery and EDM wire eroders, experience of CAD is essential.

A Highly skilled Toolmaker is urgently required for a large manufacturer based in Birmingham. Responsible for maintaining, repairing and production of new press tools and components within a toolroom envviroment.

Duties include setting and running a CNC Mikron maching centre, turning, surface grinding, working from Solid CAM software and drawings,interpreting technical drawings and inspection of all work produced.

The position is working on a day shift over a 13 week temporary to permanent agreement for the right candidate.
